Descrizione
The design of the Texan FT-79 has been drawn up by Epiphone itself. This electro-acoustic dreadnought is essentially a more affordable version of one of Paul McCartney's and Peter Frampton's favourite acoustics. Since it's part of the Masterbilt Series, you can count on an instrument that offers a lifetime of playing joy. The solid spruce top gives the guitar a rich, sparkling acoustic sound while the bone string nut helps to take care of natural vibration transference. A Fishman Sonitone Onboard Preamp system has been installed to accommodate amplified sound and the 1960s SlimTaper C-profile neck gives the FT-79 its superb feel and playability. Epiphone have finished the whole thing with a Sloped Dovetail headstock and parallelogram inlays.

Wat een fantastische aankoop heb ik gedaan met het kopen van deze Epiphone Texan. Dit is het geluid van "Yesterday" en "Blackbird". Puur genieten van dit massief houten instrument uit het middensegment. Voor mij geen middensegment en ik ben er van overtuigd, dat deze gitaar over niet al te lange tijd in prijs zal stijgen. Dus...als je een perfect klinkend instrument wilt hebben, met het nostalgische, volwarme geluid van weleer, is dit, voor deze prijs van Bax Muziek een aanrader van jewelste.
Ik heb kleine bijstellingen moeten doen in de actie van de Texan en nu speelt hij fenomenaal.
